Just in case someone has difficulty seeing the numbers.

Max temp: 63 C
Fan speed. 97%

Core clock: 1600 Mhz
Memory clock: 8020 Mhz

I know it's along time ago since this thread was used, but I overclocked the GTX 970 G1 Gaming now and my results are:
Clock Speed: +160 MHz
Mem Speed: +250 MHz
PowerTarget: nearly 70%
Temperature: 65 degrees
Core Voltage +20

My question is, why the Mem Speed only could be increased by this low?

I just started Overclocking, so I looked die the results of some other and they had +600 at Mem Speed...
The Clock Speed nearly is the same, but the Mem Speed is such low?

Thanks!

Sorry, didn't read the thread but, I have this card and I came here to get unleashed bios (finding new bios now atm;) because I had to disable every other mode than the perf1 or whatever the more performance one is. My frequencies just dropped and all I could do is restart...

With this bios I have 151 power limit, and I don't even have to overclock to say... If I crank the power limit to top it will eat itself to 1500MHz easily and mining is OK with 1600MHz. This Gigabyte is a beast, so go find the forums about custom BIOS maybe.... That's what I am doing here right now so I can't help you ;D.

There is a topic with some nice modded bioses on this forum + guides how to make one by yourself. You may experiment some with your 970.
Edit: ow tomimoi42 already mentioned it, well nvm then wink.gif
