[Completed] Appraisals: GTX 470 and 770

Thread Starter
Looks like I need a new GPU, so probably going to be parting with my current 770 and a spare 470.

Here are the Newegg links:
MSI GTX 470 Twin Frozr II
Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB WindForce 3X

I would preferably be selling for a low price since my intention is to upgrade as soon as possible (I guess like $10-20 below normal value? Or could I reasonably expect to sell them pretty quickly either way?). They're both in working order, and as far as I know in good condition; I overclocked the 470 a tiny bit, but haven't oc'd the 770--not sure if that matters or not.

Thanks in advance!

GTX 470 - $50-$60 shipped
770 $180-$210 shipped
I'd say at the most $180 on the 770 and $70 on the 470.
Even then I'd be hard pressed to buy a 770 at that price with the 280x's going for ~$160 on eBay.

I think $70-75 for the 470 might be possible, though I saw some 2gb 7850s for around that, so maybe a little lower. ($50-60 seems a little too low for a 470 to me, I see 560s/460s in that range [though I don't know if they sell])

I would say ~$190 for the 770, I see 680s going for as low as $180. Some people will always pay a little more for Nvidia over AMD, really depends on where you are trying to sell it.

I would put the 770 at $190 and 470 at $70 and see what happens for a few days then drop $5..repeat.

Unless you are in a hurry of course thumb.gif

I saw them selling for between 50 and 80 on the fleebay but as he said he wants to sell quick i quoted that price. gotta remember 470 is a few generations old already and not much demand for them anymore. just sold my 680 for 185 after having it listed for a month so i should hope 180 for a 770 would ensure a quicker sale.

sounds like a reasonable plan.

1.25GB 470 / $50 - $75.

2GB GTX 770 / $160 - $180.

Edit: closer to the high end due to the coolers included.

Yeah I mean, at this point I'd rather just have my computer ready to go more than those extra few bucks I would save by being patient. smile.gif
