Is it worth putting a 290x underwater and overclocking?

Hey everyone,

I have a small rig and was wondering if it would be worth water cooling my 290x and overclocking or just waiting for the 390x whenever that is coming. Not sure how well the 290x would overclock.
My Rig;
Case= Corsair 250D
Mobo= Asus Maximus VI Impact
CPU and Cooler= i7 4770k with h100i
Sapphire 290x (reference design)
PSU is Corsair 850 watt.
Resolution I game/work at is 2560x1440. (would like to get either 4k or maybe 1440 @120+)

I also run Folding@Home on this rig when it isn't in use.

Personally I would wait unless you have money and time to drop.

Honestly that is the route I was going to go. I just didn't know if it would be worth it for the gains.
