Currently i have samsung plz 1440moniter,very good colours, etc but very poor interms of input lag.in fps multiplayer games i just carn't seem to get on with it.
So i have decided to take the plunge for 27" 144hz screen.not sure to buy just normal 144HZ or a G-synch enabled.

Following are my shortlisted

1...benq XL2720z
2...Acer Xb27a
3...Asus swift
4...benq XL2720g hopefully out soon?

So which one would suit my purpose?.although i do prefer 1080 res for fps gaming also allows me to use my ps3/4 conected to it too.

The Swift is obviously the best monitor out of those, as it's 1440p, but of course it's extremely expensive.

If you prefer the 1080p, the BenQ one with Gsync would be my choice as it's 144hz with G-Sync.

If the controller thing isn't an issue: Swift, hands down. High quality TN panel (8-bit, lots say can't tell difference between IPS), 1440p, 144hz AND Gysnc. Really is the ultimate gaming monitor.

Either of the BenQs if you really want controller support.

That's my opinion anyways.

I was in a similar situation, I had a 1440p PLS (Asus PB278Q) but the input lag was too much for me, so now I'm waiting on a Swift.

None of the Gsync monitors will work with a PS3/4, they don't have HDMI. You can try an active DP->HDMI converter but I have heard they usually don't work.
