[Tom's] Cooltek's GT-03 Looks Like SilverStone's RV05

Now, Cooltek has announced another such enclosure, the GT-03. This case appears to ape the exterior design of SilverStone's RV05, but it has a very standard interior rather than the RV05's 90-degree rotated motherboard placement. Additionally, the GT-03 is bigger and lacks the side window.

All things considered, this is quite a decent case. It might only be made of steel with a disturbingly large amount of plastic, but it has a no-frills internal design, plenty of room for expandability, and lavish front I/O connectivity. It's well-priced, too, with the European price tag at just €44.99, which translates to roughly $48.50 USD after removing VAT. It can already be purchased in Germany, with no official word on US availability.

I'm not against the use of plastic in computer cases, but it sticks out like a sore thumb on this one.

The fact that it looks matte black? Would it really look better if it was glossy though?
Or is it the texture?

It looks cheap to me also. But I can't quite single in on what bothers me so much about it.

From a workstation standpoint i really like the built in sata dock but, it lacks enough 5.25 and 3.5" external bays.

This is a mix, like a CM690 and a RV05 had a son.

Heck, it even has the sata connection right on top.. just like the CM690 II

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this.

It would probably look worse if it was glossy. I guess it's the texture and maybe the shade as well.
