Now they are doing it again?! What???

Season pass and online pass are totally different things.

Online pass is a code to play the game online. If you sell the game or something like that a new code needs to be purchased to play the game online.

Season pass is just a collection of upcoming DLCs. You just pay upfront for the money.

Nope - won't be buying it until it hits the bargain bin for the game + DLC for ~$12

I have enough games to tie me over for awhile - not going to drop ~$100 on a game in no way shape or form.

Yes, true..... but they are "sneaking" the multi-player option into the season pass now..... so it seems like the exact same thing. You're paying for the "online-pass" and getting the DLC as a bonus.

If you look at it the other way around, I suppose it seems like the multi-player is free. But I suspect that Ubisoft knows what it is doing and wants you to pay extra for the multi-player online stuff. They've tried it before and this is just another wolf in a different sheep's clothing.

I suspect that if this is a hit, Activision will follow suit with the COD franchise. You'll have to buy a "season pass" in order to play online multi-player. You know what I mean?

I don't pay $50 for these anymore, depending on what middlemen you know or where to look, these games can be scored for $35 or less, even. Heck, I got Shadow or Mordor and Witcher 3 for those prices 6 months before they are even released.

It ain't the Steam Store anymore unless there's massive sales off, around -60% or more.

Also, i don't do G2A at all, there's other ways to do so.

Not totally legit. Steam has started blacklisting them. G2A specifically is censored in the steam forums.

annnd let me guess - you're one of those people who complains that devs (probably Ubisoft in particular) don't give PC enough love too, right?

Because when you buy on G2A steam make no benefits... when in fact they should be happy because it brings customers to steam platform, also, what is it with the annoyings advertisement on steam, we should be able to disactivate that crap... I'm pretty sure it gives me weird glitches in some games, like I was playing witcher 1 yesterday, had a weird glitch where my mouse was stuck, I go out, and there is this damn steam popup..

Gaming is getting so expensive. If you want to play all the content you easily end paying 100+$. The first game I bought in 1 years is battlefield 4 and I paid 45$ for it + premium. I don't spend more than 100$ per year for that, rather spend it in graphic card. I am a broke student. *aaarrrrrrrr*

It's true that paying for premium sucks but in the other side we get tons of content much more than in other games.

What really suck though is in games like BF4, they don't release the tools or the source code so people can't make maps, mods etc..

These type of games are the ones I wait to go on extreme discount, are given away for free, or find a way to borrow it. Gaming today is a joke with all the cut backs of quality, resolution, frame rate, content and stupidly overpriced games. only game I bought this year was Guild Wars 2 and really only looking forward to Witcher 3 and GTA5 next year.

Know them feels.

I have pre-ordered and bought like 15 AAA games in the last year or two and not even half of those I've been happy with or got the full experience because of DLC. I've not been very vocal about it, voting with my wallet has always been my style so let's hope everyone shares the same ideals as us on this subject and the game industry decides to get back on track.

An AAA title strikes again.

I have hardly bought any games the past few years and have actually started playing EVE Online once more because there simply aren't any games worth playing.

Every single video I see of new games on Youtube make me want to throw up. They are disgusting alpha ports. The only fun one that I could see was The New Order and that was a disgrace with textures popping in, awful. Wanted to buy Shadow Of Mordor (love LotR) but the performance spikes people with high end hardware suffer from are terrible. If these have finally been solved I'll buy them but as it is they are also massively disappointing.

Waiting for Witcher 3, 1 and 2 were two of the best games I've ever played and I hope 3 is the jewel in the crown.
