Excuse me guys, I read some users feedbacks where they said that Audioengine A2+ produces more bass than other bigger product like Maudio AV40 and Presonus E4.5, is it true ?

Yes and no.

There's an EQ built into the amp so 100-250 Hz or so ends up being boosted as a result. They have more upper bass and lower midrange than a lot of sets but subbass and midbass is rolled off (relative to the hump that's boosted) due to the size limitations, more so than in some larger sets, as you might imagine.

then only artificially boosted bass ?

for example for gaming and movie with shoots and explosions the A2 bass is worst then other bigger sets ?
