PC SPECS:
3930k
Rampage iv extreme
gtx 980 gigabyte m1 gaming
swiftech h220-x cooling
g.skill 32gb 2400mhz
psu seasonic 1250w x series

issue:
On the first try at a reboot - whether a restart or after a shutdown - my PC hangs at black screen, and the motherboard dispays the Q-Code "b2" - "Legacy Option ROM Initialization ". If I then power off and restart, it boots normally with no other issues.

The issue may have begun after I moved to gtx 980 4gb gpu, The system did not appear to have the problem before then
I am really sick of this error..i have to restart my pc 2 times to make my pc work and yes i am using the latest bios 4901.
any help will be appreciated thanks!

Couple of tech support sites have suggested to put your video card in another system and update the card's BIOS (quite simple just d/l the .exe file from the GPU manufacturer's website. It should fix the problem.

Hmmm... B2 is typically a RAM related qcode to stop on.

You say this problem started when you began using the GTX980, did you add RAM at that time as well (ie. going from 16-32Gb)?? Are you overclocking your RAM at all?? If so, drop back to stock timings. I would also run memtest to be sure nothing "hinkey" is going on.
