Wired monitor behavior after power outage

Hi all!

Yesterday, i had a poweroutage while my computer was on.

When i was able to turn the power on again, the desktop resolution om my two monitors was low and i couldn't see the mouse, icons or start menu... I tried turning off my computer and unplug my second monitor. Then everything was fine. no problems.

I tried plugging in the display again while the computer was running, but windows couldn't recognize the monitor? i tried turn off the computer and plug in the display again, and power on the computer. but then i had the same wired resolution as before?

Main screen: Samsung S22B300
Second screen (the one that has problems): BenQ FP222W

In the computer, i have a corsair AX860 PSU, if that's relevant... (More info about my computer on my profile)

The second monitor is pretty old. Could the power outage have killed it? Or do any of you know a trick to fix it, before i'll go spend money on a new monitor?
Or even worse, could the power outage have managed to get through my expensive quality PSU, and damaged my GPU (GTX 660)?

Any help would be appriciated.

Regards
Nicolai

Never mind! Got i working again :-)

The power outrage must have reset the benQ monitor or something like that.

I switched off SLI, and plugged the monitor in to the second card. The changed the resolution, and plugged it back in to the first card. Then switched on SLI, and now it works again! :-)
