What is the difference between the X99 UD5 and UD7?

Thread Starter
The price difference is 30 Euros (40-ishUS$) and the only difference i can spot is a heatpipe running from the chipset heatsink to the top VRM heatsink.

According to Anandtech, the UD7 is region specific to only Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. US will only get the UD5 (the rest of the world also getting the UD5).

Could someone please enlighten me on what other differences there are?

as far as I can tell they are identical. the specs and product page on Gigabyte's website is exactly the same aside from the name of the motherboard.
