A group called Atom Computer is currently promoting a mini PC that is no taller than an iPhone 6 and smaller than a can of cola on Kickstarter. The mini PC, known formally as “Neutron” and powered by Intel’s Haswell i3 and i5 processors, is more than meets the eye

Interesting to say the least guys, obviously we cant expect to see them playing games but none the less quite an achievement!

Why couldn it play games?

My laptop that I use to play games when I'm away from home has worse parts than those mini PCs if they really have those parts inside.

I can think of several places I would like to have one of these.

It's unlikely the chips in these aren't going to need to be underclocked, or they'll at least be ULV parts...lower clocks means even with the Iris 5000 it'll probably chug-a-chug in games.

You hit the nail on the head, space is restricted and there is no obvious fans, it would melt IMO without being underclocked or volted

Realize that games from Pre-2007 are still good. All the classics will run just fine. Most of them don't even have current day replacements to antiquate the originals.

You make a great point! pick up a couple of wired Xbox 360 controllers and set the mini PC up as a retro gaming console for the big screen!

That's a NUC in a fancy ugly case... yet another Kickstarter scam!

Buy it here for less than half the price!

Brutal, I know. After the Anonabox scandal, I don't trust anything tech related on KS.

They lied about their whole development cycle and were going to sell $20 routers from China for $50+. They almost got $600,000 for it too!
