I would keep some kind of shader based AA on like FXAA. DSR still has minor stair stepping and crawling. FXAA will take care of that, and not introduce too much more blur because DSR will already blur a bit during downsampling.

Even if you downsample from 4k to 1080p, you may still notice some minor aliasing. Adding some cheap AA (such as FXAA) easily fixes that.

Having DSR turned on while playing Shadow of Mordor is a bit of a disaster. It confuses the game's internal resolution option and ends up looking worse at 100% resolution in DSR than the equivalent 150% resolution without DSR.

It doesn't look like DSR is configurable per game profile. Bummer.

Shadow of Mordor is just weird, I had wanted to see how the 750 ti faired with it and couldn't drop the settings to 1080p, all it gave me were other weird resolutions up to 1440p, even when forcing my desktop resolution to 1080p.

Yeah SoM's resolution options are some of the worst I've seen. Even changing your 1440/4K monitor from NV/AMD control panel to run 1080p doesn't help, the thing will still give you these stupid percentages of the native screen res.
