2nd 780ti sli question

Hi all

I'm currently rocking a PNY 780ti, now as the prices have dropped im looking to buy a 2nd one to run along side my existing in SLI, my question is, do i have to buy the same card again is it ok to get another brand?

The card i currently have is no longer available, so i was thinking (if its possible) i would get one of these to use as my main card:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-gainward-gtx-780ti-phantom-28nm-pcie-30-(x16)-7000mhz-gddr5-gpu-boost-1046mhz-cores-2880-dp-dvi-

also with this being a factory overclocked card, does this mean i wont be able to apply my own overclocking? Would it be better for me to get an un-clocked one?

IE one of these:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-asus-gtx-780-ti-direct-cu-ii-pcie-30-7000mhz-gddr5-gpu-876mhz-boost-928mhz-cores-2880-dp-dvi-hdm

Thanks in advance!

It's ok to get a different brand. You will be able to apply your own overclock.

Can't seem to find any reference cards anywhere now. They're all double the price for some reason. Is the PNY card reference?
