[Gamestop]Xbox One Custom Backgrounds Coming via November Update - Page 2

I am happy to see Microsoft improving their software on the Xbox one. I have had mine since day one, and the things they have added in since it's launch have really improved the overall experience. I am talking about things like external HDD support, and DLNA playback. The one thing I, and many others, are still missing is the media center extender app. If Microsoft would give me that I would be one happy camper, and would end up replacing all of my Xbox 360's that are used exclusively as extenders.

And I saw today there is a TV tuner in the works released in Europe for the xbone. Its definitely a more feature rich device compared to the PS4, which I think is what they were going for. One go-to device for the living room n all that

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit jealous of that feature myself. Who knows, maybe I'll buy an Xbone for the MCC and see how good it is.

Well the little things do make a big difference, Like when the Vita got updated to have themes too, but the previous update added some good stuff too for the Xbone

Sure sony may be working on the big update, but they didnt have to wait, could of added some features early that people would actually use.

All in all i think both consoles are pants and i own both of them, but being a tech head i like to know how the future is panning out for consoles and what is happening in that area.

It is what it is. It looks better to me than XBone. Besides we all know the original XB and would not mistake it for XB1. Honestly for years I called the PS1 PSX because that is what it was before PS2 came out.

*edit: I can deal with XBO, still think XB1 reads better, but whatever

I think of the XB1 as the original Xbox, just like the PS1 is the original PlayStation.

The root cause is MS's naming scheme being pants-on-head retarded. (See Windows 7,8,8.1,10 while all four versions are Windows NT version 6.x)

This is why Xbone makes more sense to me instead of XB1. Spelling it out rather than numerical, just like Microsoft does with the Xbox One
