Power requirement for older card

I have a friend who is upgrading to a new card and selling me his old one, which is a huge upgrade for me.

He has a HIS 6870 radeon, i have a 4850 radeon so its a huge jump. I know the PSU i have now can run it, its a 1k watt but I want to upgrade to a Modular 80Plus PSU at the same time and I am wondering if i can get away with something like this RAIDMAX 530 Watt

Opinions? Im able to budget about 50.00 on the PSU, give or take a bit.

Depends on the rest of your system... The card itself consumes around 125W, so you should be fine as long as you don't have tons of hard drives and a 130W CPU overclocked to heck.

THAT being said, That is not that great of a power supply. Check out the recommended PSU thread, and pick something from there that will fit your budget: http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies#user_500-599W
