GTX 780 freezing, sound looping, drivers stop working etc.

Only thing I have swapped out is the graphics card from a 290 to a 780. 780 has been used in another computer and it worked there, but not on mine. I have clean installed drivers and tried different versions, what is my problem?

You will probably want to driver sweep all the drivers first and then do a clean install. Sometimes you need to do a clean OS install after swtiching brands. That is, if the 780 is not faulty as you mentioned.

I sweeped everything, it seems like it could be just CS:GO, though. I fired up competitive twice, thinking I had fixed it and ended up banned. Clean OS install sounds like radical action just for that, but I acknowledge that you may be right. Card can't really be fault, because it worked for the previous owner.

EDIT: Looks like it might have been just CS:GO and old audio drivers? Not sure if possible, but that is my only reasoning as cs seemed to work fine. It is 1 AM here so I will report if it works tomorrow.

EDIT2: Looks like it works now, learnt my lesson. Install your audio drivers in time, people.
