I'm looking to upgrade my monitor now and wait for the new gpus in 015

my budget is only around 300 so here is what i found

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4JH1NB1871&nm_mc=BAC-Criteo&cm_mmc=BAC-Criteo-_-Monitors+-+LCD+Flat+Panel-_-QNIX-_-9SIA4JH1NB1871
this looks like a good 1440p monitor for the price and overclockable

this also looks good
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4JH1GY6260

if this is worth it i guess i could squeeze up to 400

http://www.ebay.com/itm/QNIX-QX2710-LED-Evolution-II-Multi-TRUE10-SE-27-2560x1440-QHD-DVI-HDMI-Monitor-/121362611435?pt=Computer_Monitors&hash=item1c41c67ceb

The 1440p on newegg is same one sold on EBAY for 100 bucks less. Everyone purchases it via Ebay. OCN has a qnix/korean monitor thread if you want more verification on it.

You want to stay away from 1080p as its just so last yesterday, and with your 300 bugdet you will be well off with a qnix IPS 27inchs opposed to that acer 27'. Qnix can hit up to 120 refresh, but on average everyone goes to 96.

Other than that last link, on the LG is up to you how much u want to use it for movies, vs all around good 1440p clarity and retail space.

Also account GPU power, if you are yousing 7970 you will be fine with the 1440p, it will run smooth since 1440p does not require AA, at most x2AA for maximum view.

Also on side note 1440p , on 1080p movies it looks a bit washed out because the scaling is not even, 720p scales correctly for some odd reason (well i mean 1440p is x2 so yeah it makes sense) apart from that there are noo issues.
Hope this helps!

The single input/Qnix/X-Star with 1x Dual-Link DVI can, the multi input (True 10) monitors can not and have a frame of input lag.

Yeap the QNIX, on ebay you get an option to pick Matte or Glossy, Matte prevents glare (I have this one and its great), and then glossy for those who absolutly want 100% contrast etc etc. Mattee is not bad at all.
