I'm already assuming I wouldn't be able to get a decent experience in this game with my 780ti even after extensive tinkering with the graphical settings.
After all, even at the 63fps cap almost stable
+ G-sync to "smooth out" the little occasional frame-rate drops here and there
+ playing with a controller in an attempt to make the constant micro-stutters less aggravating,
black flag was still unplayable for my standard.
I never finished the game and I'm not planning to give it another chance.
So why would unity be any different. From what we know, it's capped at 30fps on new gen consoles and the official hardware requirement for PC is ridiculous.
I'm already almost sure I will not buy this game anyway. So I'm not worried about this game anymore. Just worried about this trend of badly optimized games, stupid frame rate caps. And also worried that these kinds of abominations will still sell well anyway thanks to heavy marketing.
