I would load it up but my PC is in pieces since I blew up the fan driver on my board and it seems to not want to turn on anymore. Either way I remember the game running better on nvidia cards than AMD of comparable power.
Again, I personally didn't have any problems. YMMV!
The consoles as always are weaker but they are also a known quantity and can be optimized as such which is why they will usually offer better performance at a given setting.
I know this. However, so far, the consoles have been doing about what I, or anyone else, would expect them to be doing considering the hardware. If the consoles can run Unity then a GPU like the 290 (which is like 3x faster than a 7870) will have no problems running the game. Optimized or not you aren't getting anything close to 290 performance from something like a PS4 or X1. Not to mention your PC has a CPU that's like 3x faster than what's in the consoles as well (if not more).
So yeah...if the consoles can do it then a PC with your specs will have NO problems...console optimizations be damned!
