No video from GTX 570...completely confused

Yesterday I flew from Richmond, VA to Fort Lauderdale, FL, and bought my rig along with me. The computer traveled in a Pelican case, and TSA went through it, but outside of a broken panel (which was cracked already) nothing appeared damaged. Once I got grounded I refilled my W/C loop and powered the computer on. No video. I figured it may be the HDMI to DVI dongle, and plugged the HDMi cable directly into the motherboard, and I get video. I took the 6950 out of my brohter's rig and tried it in my system, and I get video. I then tried my GTX 570 in his computer and it boots!(?) So I try my 570 in my computer again, nothing. I take his power supply and switch it with mine (650 to 750) and try it again. Nothing. My card works perfectly in his machine but not in mines. I have also done power cycles and cleared the CMOS. I don't know what else I can do to troubleshoot this issue.

Maybe it's the PCIE slot itself? Have you tried using any other avilable PCIE slots on your mobo? What's your method of clearing CMOS? A while back I couldn't get video on a new build and when I was troubleshooting, I momentarily took out the CMOS battery and put it back in to no avail. Took it out for five minutes and it fixed the problem. Not sure if that's just a silly mistake or if your board has a reset switch built in.

It is hard to rule that it's the PCI-E slot because my brother's 6950 works in the same slot, and the board isn't the one listed in my sig, it's an AsRock Z77E-ITX. I cleared the CMOS with the external button, but I may remove the battery as well.

I installed an Asus 4890 that I had in storage on the rig, and of course, I got video. However, when I would try to boot Warframe the game would instantly crashed. Uninstalled all drivers/reinstalled drivers and uninstalled/reinstalled the game and it still crashes at boot. One member mentioned the PCI-E slot, as well as some others. Am I sending the board in for repair at that point or is this something I can repair myself. At this point I'm pretty sure it's the slot.
