HI guys,
Currently I am running Gigabyte GTX-660 TI, and I have been looking for a new card. I have looked at some reviews and prices around to find what card I would fit in my peak-budget. Finally I made a final list of 6 different graphic cards. There are two different series which are GTX 970 and GTX 780 TI. My problem here is the mix and match between my 2 year old rig and the new card I will be getting. Please find the list of the cards I put in my final list.
GTX 970
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 PCiE Video Graphics Card GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD - price: $369.99

Zotac GeForce GTX 780 Ti AMP Edition 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDMI DVI DisplayPort SLI Ready Graphics Card ZT-70504-10P - price: $415.85
My current computer has the following::
CPU - I5- 3570 3.4Ghz
Motherboards - ASRock z77 Extreme 4/A/ACHIEVA
Ram: 16G GSKILL 1333 RIPJAWX CL9
PSU: 650 XFX Core Edition PSU
CASECOOLERMASTER K380 USB3
Current GPU GIGABYTE GTX660 TI Standard
I am just wondering if my computer will bottleneck these graphic cards as it is 2 year old system, and my current CPU and Motherboard are behind the time to match up with new tech graphic cards.
My current monitor is EIZO FS2333 which I am planning to keep as it has been just a year since I bought it, however, I might consider 1440p monitor later on (when I get money) if there is a gaming 1440p exists.
Your help will be so beneficial to me in my purchase as I will be buying from AMAZON USA, whereas I am from Australia. I will be looking forward to your precious inputs.
