Which version did you use? i think i tried that and it didnt work... im sure i tried that. Did you download 32bit older version or 64bit??

all 64 bit:

not sure if 5.236 or 5.265; both worked but i think 5.265 slightly garbles my screen until reboot.

A modded BIOS shouldn't do that if it's the same BIOS for your GPU, just modified. That looks to me like a BIOS from another vendor's GPU.

We also don't have a way to mod the GP104 BIOS yet unless you've found a way, please share. smile.gif

I've modified the BIOS for west (took the original BIOS file and modified it, so IDs should be OK). It looks like the structure of the Pascal BIOS is similar to the Maxwell, so it was quite easy to find the PowerTarget values in the BIOS image. We don't know if the modification was successful, because currently there is no possibility to flash it to the card as you can see. smile.gif

Oh you used a hex editor? I still wouldn't think that the board ID would change. huh

Use at your own risk but -6 command is an override command. so NVFLASH -6 bios.rom

"overridesub 6 Allow firmware and adapter PCI subsystem ID mismatch."

Here's what I see...

There's some kind of process to detect itself it appears.. There also appears to be a license.. all this may mean absolutely nothing in terms of MODing but...

The reason I bring this up is because when I search a GM2xx BIOS I don't find any of this stuff (hulk, license, vbios, supported, found, verify) except certificate checks in the Maxwell BIOS...

Looks like there is a GP100 - GP108 increments of 2.

We can plan on waiting a long time for GP100.. we will see GP102 first mad.gif

Not waiting on a pascal bios editor...only waiting on the bios cert check fix....

Hi guys
I recently flashed a modded bios to my 980ti sc acx and it worked no problem. Now I am trying to reflash the original as I may have to rma it due to a fan issue but I'm getting the Error: Bios Cert 2.0 Verification Error ,Update aborted.
I have the original bios saved but it won't let me flash back for some reason.
Any help greatly appreciated guys.
Thanks
