Not sure if I can use this. The size seems a bit off and the header looks a lot different than the GP104 BIOS files I have.

as mentioned this bios is "unsigned", just a dump for analysis, not for flashing

I appreciate it. It may actually be helpful. I'm in the process of comparing it to a couple of GP104 saves that I have.

Shame, it's a nice clean program.

@Sheyster, here's a later version 5.306 you could try perhaps.

nvflash5.306.zip 1307k .zip file

edit: never mind, just saw that other have the same issues and tried newest nvflash posted before me, thanks anyway rolleyes.gif

Hoy guys, I tried couple different bios for MSI 980Ti 6G gaming and i did a backup of original bios with GPU-Z.
Now i cant restore the original bios with nvflash v5.287, should i use some different command than "nvflash -6 *.rom" to restore the original bios?

this is what i get:

Checking for matches between display adapter(s) and image(s)...

why i doesnt accept the 84.00.41.00.2D even thats the original bios?

Hey guys

I recently bought an MSi GTX 1060 6GT https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1060-6GT-OC.html#hero-overview

And when installing the card. everything runs fine accept for fan speed, the fan speed is locked at 49%, you cant go LOWER than 49% in afterburner, ive tried fan curves, manual, everything, i cannot get the fans to go lower

I contacted MSi and they were less then helpful

I was wondering if its possible that this might be a bios fan lock and if it can be removed.

Is this working with the TX Pascal? Anyone tried to flash a card?

Can anyone of you get the new nvflash version? It's nvflash 5.315. I couldn't find it so far.

I tried going from one custom rom to another, and now I'm pretty sure my card is bricked. I had read in a post that the latest nvflash did not require you to disable the adapter in device manager, so I did not worry about trying. I ran: nvflash -6 *****.rom and the cmd window just hung for a few minutes. I ended up just alt+f4'ing. I rebooted and monitor gets no signal and turns off. Boot into windows using igfx, and nvflash can see my 980ti, but will not flash anything to it. It says the eeprom is erased. I tried downloading a stock rom, but nothing flashes to it. I tried going into dos from a usb boot, and nvflash says no nvidia adapters found.

My card is Zotac 980ti Amp! Extreme.

Edit: I used nvflash 5.292 and it worked. I was scared poopless for like an hour, haha.
