This is looking great, though if I may ask, why didn't you water cool the CPU? Good luck smile.gif

Thanks, essentially it's just down to limitations on radiator area and there has already been a build in this case with stacked rads and a short graphics which watercooled both CPU and GPU. There are certainly ways in which it could be possible particularly with lower TDP cards but this is the way I wanted to go with this build. It's different for sure and it certainly works for me on an aesthetic level with the L12 and iPPC dominating the motherboard. From a performance and acoustic angle the loop should give much better gains for the 290X rather than the 4440 which for a locked multiplier chip should be easily cooled quietly by the L12. I don't think the same can be said for the 290X leafblower biggrin.gif Aesthetics take priority at the end of the day and looking down through the exhaust grill at the inverted blocked card really works for me

It shouldn't be too long until the brown caps arrive from Signature Plastics, i'm very excited about those too.

XV - Securing the Parvum logo inlay

I'm another step closer to final assembly now after gluing in each piece of the inlay. Parvum normally rely on the tightness of each piece to hold it in place however i'd noticed the extremely small parts would stand proud of the front panel on occasion. Scared of losing one in the car or at a lan I decided to superglue them in place, besides it made for an epic photo opportunity. It was an extremely delicate operation, using a needle to wipe on a small amount of glue to the back corner of each letter and then pressing them down against a sheet of glass.

Thankfully all of Parvums beautiful work is still in perfect condition and none of my fingers are attached to any of it. I'm very relieved now...

This build log is very under-appreciated. You're very very neat, anyone with an aesthetics fetish would be going mad right now.

I guess nobody likes Chocolate in America, you can't blame them Hershey's is rubbish. It seems to have a bigger following on UK forums. I guess I might just be too newb around these parts as well, still I try to treat them all the same, thanks.
