For Sale:
Socket 775 Blowout! X5150's,

Will Ship To: US48

Hello and welcome to anther one of my For-Sale Threads.

This one will be a little different, the difference being Almost everything here as been tested and is NOT 100%.

I have collected an insane amount of Socket 775 era components and simply want them gone, I've spent too many nights trying to get them stable for more then a day, and never succceding that it's ridiculous.

I will say that I'm making this ad on the X5460/Striker PC listed below, and It's been fine, but It's never not given me a random BSOD when I say that. I believe that the issues lie with the memory settings in the BIOS. Auto timings and 2.1V DDR2 voltage have given the most stable results. IT is quick with the OCZ Vertex 2.

Please ask as many questions as you need, everything is sold as-is and the prices are set low for this reason, shipping's expensive on motherboards...

I will be listing more soon, (Asus P5B-e, E8400, 8GB DDR2, Intel P35... )

Payment = Pay-Pal or MO

Trades?

I am only looking for one thing. A Double Din car radio to replace the one in my girlfriends car,(06 Fusion) must have USB and be newer.
Maybe Doom 3 BFG edition for Steam

Now unto the sales. smile.gif

Striker Extreme 680i, X5460 CPU, Stock CPU cooler. (Will not separate)

Price = $70 shipped, that includes the Striker Extreme, X5460, I/O Plate, Two Asus VRM fans The sound card and microphone(never used), stock CPU cooler. $90 shipped if you'd like the 6GB of DDR2 that's installed with it.

Heavily used but still kinda chugging along setup. I received the motherboard in a no-post condition.Got it to work after installing diffrent ram and a fresh CMOS battery. I also removed the heatpipes, installed fresh thermal paste on the NB and SB, used Cerimqe on the mosfets. I found the VRM fans from another FS thread(Will come with two). the board is warped from the stock Intel CPU cooler, thus, the mosfets don't touch the cooler, I believe that that's been the entire reason it's been unstable, but I haven't figured out a way to fix it without removing the entire apparatus and installing individual heat sinks. The most annoying issues was when i was playing GTA 4 and I got this shrieking sound from the audio output; also the rear LCD has never worked either unfortunately. i was informed the microcode for the xeon are outdated, and will need to be updated to get the 9.5 multiplier. Now, I can run any test you would like, It can run loops of 3DMark06, haven't tried anything else.

XFX 780i, E6700

I received this motherboard for my Evangelion themed Antec 900 mod, but, just like the Striker, was never stable. When it was for about a day, it then refused to turn on, it would instantly shut down when the power button was pressed. I reinstalled the bios chip after reading that it could be the culprit, and i got it to boot, but it now just random shuts down when completely still. can be on for 10 seconds or 10 minutes, just shuts right down. Flashed with the EVGA 780i FTW bios for better voltage control. Included is the manual and almost all accessories and SLI bridges that came with it minus two or three sata cables. The tuinq tower back plate is stuck to it, so ask about a combo deal, I'd include it for free, but shipping goes up drastically.

Price = $30 Shipped
SOLD TO MR KROGOTH

Three X5150 CPU's (No stickers) they were working pulls, I've never got a chance to use the. Price = $5 shipped

OCZ DDR2 800 Titanium 2 2X2GB kits. Price = $20 shipped for both kits.
Sold to Faster_Is_better

Never could get all four of these sticks to work in any of my DDR2 motherboards. One kit works, or 2X2GB, but three sticks would cause a boot freeze, 4 means no post. Tried to maunaly set the timings then boot, no change. I'm going to say that only one kit works so priced for one kit, you get the other one free.
