Any reason why 240-X runs just a wee bit louder than 220-X? Shouldn't it be quieter with larger fans? Difference is insig to most but just curious.

Any performance comparisons of 220-X vs 240-X once expanded with a GPU? I understand the golden rule seems to be 120mm rad space per processing unit + 120mm of wiggle room but Hitech Legion suggests GPU + CPU is actually do-able on the 280mm of 240-X without needing additional rad? Anyone's setup confirms this? is this suggested at stock levels, or moderate OC levels, or max OC levels but not full load on both (most gaming scenarios) or full load max OC on both CPU + GPU (benching)?

It is a touch louder for the simple fact that the Helix 140mm move slightly more air than the 120mm.

As far as expanding....a 240mm radiator has a surface area of 28,800 sq mm. A 280 is 39,200 which is 91% as large as a 360mm (43,200). You are discounting how large a 280 is. And, yes, I have done it with a 4770K and a 290X. Temps on the 290X were exceptional, while the 4770K went up a few degrees from HAVING NO GPU.

Anybody have any idea on what is up with the H240-X? The problem isn't that it isn't in stock. The problem is that they never reply to any email inquiries. It is a poor way to run a business. I talked to a rep on a forum one time who promised to find something out in the thread and there never was any follow up. Very disappointing.
