Maybe not enough voltage?

It just scares me that it started happening after I changed wattage from the PCIE D:

Will try this now, thanks biggrin.gif

Well, I thought I was 1500MHz stable but unfortunately firestrike crashed at the end of the benchmark. Heaven and valley are stable at 1500Mhz. I haven't tested it yet in BF4. This information on bios definitely helps stability, at least for me it did.

I'll definitely run more tests because I could pass things at 1495Mhz, maybe that's my limit.

I just want to increase my power limit and unlock my voltage, so I can find my max OC. Can anyone help me with that? EVGA 960 SSC, with a 1x8 pin power plug. I just want to leave everything else stock, including boost, for now. Its on water, so I want to push it. smile.gif

I actually grabbed that one last night. tongue.gif. Granted, I know nothing about these BIOS, but I assumed your BIOS was a constant voltage. Which is fine, as long as it can be changed in software. It was just a lot of figures, more than I thought for just the two limitations removed that I needed.

Any suggestions how to fix Zotac AMP! Extreme Core's voltages (2x 6-pin PCI-E connectors) so that Chrome doesn't crash the drivers? I know I can use maximum voltage or set "maximum performance" in NVIDIA Control Panel but my goal is to NOT use maximum voltages during Internet browsing.

Currently I'm using modified bios with these settings:

Everything else is on default.

The cards seems to overclock pretty well and I can at least use Heaven & Valley stable GPU clocks (around 1560MHz) but this Chrome crash might force me to lower the clocks. This crash happens only when I run benchmarks then fastly open Chrome after that. The reason is probably too agressive voltage lowering compared to used clocks at that moment.

i just edited the power table for my Palit Jetstream 970 to 272000 TPD because The card runned in Powerlimit all the time (Asic Score 59,2% ^^)

it worked, but it run into the Temp target (79°C), so i edited this to 83°C - worked too. i think im ok with that now.

but the card now always, even in idle runs with the base clock, no 135MHZ or 430 MHZ

is this common , or have i done something wrong?
greetings from germany

If you didn't edit the voltage tables it should be able to run at idle speeds.
How slow does your fan run? Or do you have average airflow in your case. Mine doens't go over 65. (fan at arround 1500rpm), for me personally i don't like to see high temps.
