Mine has been at my place since 9:45am this morning, but I can't leave here until 5pm at the earliest. My Ergotron LX Tall mounting arm is already installed to my desk (put it up last night to save time messing with it tonight), so it's just a matter of putting the bracket on the back and plugged it all in when I get home.

Couldn't get the guys at Dell UK to move much on there website price like you America guys. There best price they could do was £831 saving roughly £50 on the list price on Dell UK.

Now I am sure that doesn't sound bad but on Amazon UK it's £703 which is like £180 difference. I asked if they could match the price on Amazon and they said they couldn't. Crazy considering they make the monitor wth.gif.

The only thing is that it isn't in stock on Amazon UK yet says it will be dispatched in 2 to 3 weeks but with such a big saving it would be worth the wait. I am also waiting on 960 cards from Nvidia anyway.

ohh nice vesa mount..will that work on a glass desk? i never used a vesa mount before...mind if i ask where u got yours from?

update: damn, i called ergotron, none of these will work for glass desk! it'll eventually crack it, now i gotta research if people have modified the clamps by inserting rubber/or pieces of wood between the glass desk and clamp, only other option is wall mounts which i dont want to drill a hole into haha

if anyone has modified their ergotrons for glass desks, plz reply thx

I wouldn't recommend glass desk unless u have it hooked to a metal bar underneath, which seems unlikely. I would go with wall mounting if you have a glass desk.

FedEx tried to deliver it today at 11:30 AM, but nobody was home to sign for it, so I went by the local FedEx depot on the way home from work and picked it up.

My 660ti is handling it just fine, via included DP cable.

Been using mine for a couple hours now... GLORIOUS. So clear and sharp, and it doesn't color-shift hardly at all (unlike my previous monitor). Using it for desktop work is exactly what I'd hoped - like two monitors stuck together.

Only tried a couple games real quick - CoD:WaW, Wolf N.O., Skyrim. All good, though the older ones (CoD and Skyrim) don't really do this resolution quite right. Wolfenstein looks incredible. And no problem with performance (I can see a tad bit of tearing occasionally, but that's OK). I didn't change any monitor settings, except for changing "response time" to "fast". Not much difference really, maybe a tad better, and higher contrast. Will have to test more. I'm pretty surprised my 660ti handles this so well, so far for games. Not sure how to adjust the screen to make 2540x1440 non-stretched though (would rather it be normal aspect ratio, and put black bars on left and right).

Looking forward to trying lots of other games, and tweaking.

Productivity-wise, I can see this is gonna be GREAT!
