Disregard - Page 2

I have two R9-280X's and I'm using Windows 8. Apparently I drew the good lotto ticket, 9,903MB of video memory on each GPU. I would trust GPU-Z over dxdiag. It is a little strange that your graphics properties window shows 2GB. Mine shows 6144 (6144/2=3072 which is appropriate)

Where as mine, is showing incorrectly in everything except GPU-Z.

So, obviously there is a "problem" of some sort on my side.

Well run 3dmark and heaven. Compare your scores with others that have 2x 280x's and see. If you fall way short then something is wrong.

All the readings that your Window's and DX get are from drivers. Try a clean install with DDU and try the newest beta drivers.

But seriously Run 3dmark and compare.

DX doesn't read my GPU's Correctly I have 16gb of ram with 2x 980's 4gb the only thing that's reading right is windows and GPU-Z

What does Catalyst(CCC) show you?
Small wonder.

maybe.

I don't care what anything else says as long as GPU-Z is correct and I am getting the correct performance figures.
Small wonder.

Seems something I would do as well.

As long as GPU-Z is reporting correctly.

It's dxdiag. Its non-important. As you wrote, gpuz is where it matters.

Wow, that was a well thought out, educated, precise to the point answer. Thank you for taking the time to help me through this issue, I can see your knowledge and skill is vast and complete.

My sincerest thanks for your intellectual input.

You're new here and you think replying to an answer you don't understand with high levels of incredulous attitude and sarcasm is the way to go? Good job.

Being new here means what? Nothing.

I asked a question, and saying "Ignore it" is not a solution to the problem itself, I didn't ask for opinions. I have been "ignoring" it, but I wanted to try to fix the actual issue at hand with some help from others.
