[Build Log] BeQuiet! Silent Base 800 orange/black build.

Howdy will be doing my first build log and build over the next week or two as soon as parts arrive. Build will be mainly focused on silence (or at least to be quieter than my current build).

Hardware:
BeQuiet! Silent base 800 orange trim
i5-4690k
GA-Z97X-SOC Force (Overkill but looks amazing)
Still looking for some nice orange ram (Considering G-Skill Ares)
Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler
GTX780ti
Corsair RM650 PSU
Samsung 840 Evo SSD
2 x WD Caviar black 1TB drives

Will be replacing the modular cables from the RM650 with orange/black braided cables. As soon as the paint arrives i am also going to be painting the silver portions of the 780ti cooler orange to match with the rest of the build. I did consider replacing the D14 with an all in one liquid cooler, but as a cheaper option i will be replacing the fans with Noctua's new redux fans hopefully this will blend in. I am also considering even painting the heatsink of the D14 to match although unless someone else has already done this i probably wont rolleyes.gif

For now all i have done is taken away the paint on the Geforce GTX logo i am considering painting it orange although as it stands it just pops out and i really like it.

A little rough mellowsmiley.gif

Will have to work on my photography skills tongue.gif

Looks decent still considering painting it orange.
Some terrible work in progress shots. Need some sunlight so i can take some better pics frown.gif

Still waiting for the paint for the heatsink and 780ti and some other parts

Will update over the coming weeks hope you guys enjoy! smile.gif

Also should i go orange with the geforce logo? I cant decide tongue.gif

Some almost complete pics along with some other guff i took tongue.gifMasking / Painting shots (Click to show)

Old Vs New (Click to show)

Inside Shots (Click to show)

The cables going to the graphics card are not permanent ordered some longer ones so they can be tucked away better.
Also not entirely happy with the paint job on the noctua but it will have to do until i can afford an AIO liquid cooler frown.gif
Monitor Shots (Click to show)
What the rig goes to power. Minus the ipad that was just there to entertain myself while installing windows smile.gif

Getting the old rig ready to be sold hoping it fetches some decent cash to recoup some of my losses from this build.

Paintjob on the card looks good

Are you going to mod the side panel so you can see then internals or not?

I was hoping BeQuiet would release a windowed side panel for the case but that looks doubtful. So i will probably have a look at getting it done later in the year. Also want a custom PSU cover at some point too.

Ah ok, are you able to make in a way that it covers the drive cages due to the Be Quiet logo in the middle?
