[Build log] White Ice

Thread Starter
This going to be the 3rd build I have made. I decided to go for a cool color scheme with blue, white and possibly green. This project will be in multiple phases for monetary reasons. Some of the things I recycled from my old computer, others are brand new.

Phase 1: Core build

Phanteks Enthoo Primo White case
Asus x99-Deluxe
Intel Core i7 5820k
G.Skill 16GB DDR4 RAM (Blue)
Corsair AX1200 power Supply
Samsung Evo 500gb Solid state drive
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM
MSi Twin Frozr GTX 780 ti video card

Cooling:
XSPC EX360 radiator
PrimoChill Primoflex Advanced LRT 7/16 ID 5/8 OD Clear tubing
Mayhem X1 UV blue coolant concentrate w/ Distilled water
Reservoir: PrimoChill 240mm CTR Phase II D5 Enabled - Frosted
Swiftech MCP655B pump
White phanteks 140mm fans on the bottom (came with the case).

Still debating which fans to use for the radiator. Possible Phanteks with blue or white LED.
I was considering using white NZXT LED lights with blue LED fans for the radiator, to create a "light blue" background.

Future Phases:
280 radiator for the bottom
2nd 780 Ti for SLI
Water blocks for video cards
2nd loop for video cards (?)

This will be an ongoing long term build.

So far, I received the case:

I get more of my stuff from newegg tomorrow. The coolant and tubing will come next week.

I decided to order phanteks 120SP fan without LEDs. If I decide I need LED I can always order 3 of the same fans with LED and set it to push/pull. I ordered NZXT white LED strip. I will throw in a pair of UV cold cathodes.

I got most of my core build.

I placed the cpu, waterblock, dimms, and PSU. I am really enjoying building on this case.

I received my frosted reservoir today.

So I ended up getting the Bitspower resovoir because the PrimoChill did not fit properly without having to screw it. IMO it looks sharper anyway and fits my system like a glove:

I also got some matching Phanteks fans for the radiator:

I recycled the XSPC fans and put them in the "pull" position of the radiator. I installed the radiator.

The next step is to set up my water cooling. I have Mayhem UV blue coming. I am going to mix UV cold cathode with white UV lighting to light up my case. Eventually I will get a 2nd 780 ti, a 280 radiator for the bottom, and water-cool the cards, but that is alot of cash. mad.gif
