I am liking the new collatz_sieve.  Nice short tasks and some pretty great points. :D  Reminds me of the old DiRT days.  80 second run time for 3800 points.

Opps..I signed up today thinking the BGB was tomorrow.

No worries, that's why I left the sign-up sheet active. I'll get you added in a bit. thumb.gif

They all failed on my 980's so I'm back to running Moo. I will have to look into why the Collatz WU failed after the BGB is over. Keep on crunching everyone.

Hey guys. I request your help. smile.gif

I haven't run Collatz in a while (focusing my free GPU a bit more on F@H) but now I decided to spin things around for a change.
However, when I try to update the CC project, I get the following entries in my log:
excerpt (Click to show)
Code:
03/11/2015 20:03:51 | Collatz Conjecture | update requested by user
03/11/2015 20:03:55 | Collatz Conjecture | sched RPC pending: Requested by user
03/11/2015 20:03:55 | Collatz Conjecture | [sched_op] Starting scheduler request
03/11/2015 20:03:55 | Collatz Conjecture | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
03/11/2015 20:03:55 | Collatz Conjecture | Requesting new tasks for CPU and AMD/ATI GPU
03/11/2015 20:03:55 | Collatz Conjecture | [sched_op] CPU work request: 900.14 seconds; 3.00 devices
03/11/2015 20:03:55 | Collatz Conjecture | [sched_op] AMD/ATI GPU work request: 4320.00 seconds; 1.00 devices
03/11/2015 20:03:57 | Collatz Conjecture | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
03/11/2015 20:03:57 | Collatz Conjecture | [sched_op] Server version 703
03/11/2015 20:03:57 | Collatz Conjecture | Not sending work - last request too recent: 138 sec
03/11/2015 20:03:57 | Collatz Conjecture | Project requested delay of 303 seconds
03/11/2015 20:03:57 | Collatz Conjecture | [sched_op] Deferring communication for 00:05:03
03/11/2015 20:03:57 | Collatz Conjecture | [sched_op] Reason: requested by project

and communication is deferred in an infinite loop.

E: Fixed now. But I triggered my OCP. frown.gif

Sorry, I didn't catch this sooner, although I would have been no help on figuring out the problem, since it was your PSU. :D

I regularly see 1000+ watts being pulled from the wall with a pair of OC'd r9-290s and an OC'd 4790k.  If I ran both of those cards on the PT1 BIOS with max volts, I would easily pull 1200+ watts from the wall.

You should show up in the stats on the next update. :thumb:

Wow, definitely obvious I'm not running one of the higher point projects, but I don't mind. Einstein@Home has always has some projects for me to download, unlike GPUGrid which seems to go dry on occasion ^_^;;;
