Just waiting for the Christmas break to be over so I can go inspect these bad boys in person.

Subbed! I'd go with this case. but thats just my opinion.

The lian li case looks good going by the pics and specs. Seems to have ample fan slots and I like the unique design of it.

Haven't really seen many builds in it either so would be nice to see. Having said that, the parvum is always a safe bet.

The Lian Li is creeping back as the winner now. I like the fact that it isn't common (I've only found 2 complete builds with it) and it will suit some of the performance and aesthetic aims I am after. Now I just need my supplier to get back from holidays so I can make the decision - he has the Parvum in stock and was getting the Lian Li in - now he just has to get back from holidays tongue.gif

Got my hands on the Lian Li V359! Unfortunately without heavy modding (which defeats the purpose of accessible parts) it wouldn't allow for current graphics card with fans at the end to maintain the airflow I wanted. It was really disappointing because on paper it looked to have everything I needed and wanted in a case but with graphics cards getting bigger lately, it seemed like an impractical option frown.gif

But...

This guy fell into my lap!

Thermaltake Core V21
It has a similar size, but with more room, more options air and water, stackable option and a damn good price! The added bonus, when my fiancé saw this she loved it immediately (the build is for her), a far better reaction than the V359 lol. For me, the beauty of this case is that while being a 'smaller' case it doesn't have the graphics card length, CPU cooler height or PSU length restrictions that many in it's class have. I know there are options that are similar out there but not at this price. From what I gather the quality is likened to the Corsair 540, if that's the case I will be pleased (my 540 is a great unit in my book) and once I have it and play around a little, I'll whip up a review for OCN thumb.gif

The order has been placed for the case and the fans, the sleeving is sorted now the short wait begins! I opted for express so I should have everything in my hands early next week biggrin.gif

PS, for those that may wonder why I didn't go with the Parvum S2.0, two reasons: 1) there are a heap of S2.0 builds already on OCN; 2) it didn't meet on of my feature requirements (more on this to come in photo form) smile.gif

Basically I've ordered two cases "in stock", double checked on the phone then I got a confirmation of "there is no ETA" and the same with some parts as well.

I might have to leave this build due to availability and pure frustration. I might be getting my personal rig sorted so stay tuned for that!

I was distracted by the X9 but the S8 is calling my name! Shipping/manufacturing would mean it might take a little while though.

O ok not good to hear that thinking.gif

but you not far from Melbourne and these guys ship super fast like Frozencpu. I was and looking at this case as well for my other build coming thinking of just getting the case for now Thermaltake Core X2 Micro ATX Cube Chassis.

The boys in Melbourne pccasegear.com have them in stock and many others. They are my supplier down here and from the US i use frozencpu as i live up north in Brisbane smile.gif
