thanks, yea that first one was a right bodge job, i sleeved a fan the other day just gutted there's no way to make it heatshrinkelss going to order some white cable in asap so that the white sleeve will look much better

all the paints and rivets arrived today too so its time to get dismantling and painting, just need to order my grills for the front + top panels of the case, once i decide what grills i want there.

Final parts for the case MOD arrived today. Can start taking measurements and cutting the panels now. The hex grill will be resprayed blue same as the internal part of the case

You will also have to excuse the even slower progress this month and next month... Going skiing and made some unplanned tech investments.

I was a bit impatient so I attached it just to remove it on Thursday... Good news... It fits!!

From initial measurements it should just about finish flush with the panel once it's cut which is good news.

So i got a few replies to some emails i sent out to manufacturers of certain parts im ordering. and this is now the plan.... let me know your thoughts...

you can see how i am mounting the fans on the front of the case (with the panel mods as ive been going on about using the dual layer hex grills.

i will have a White 360 Monsta rad mounted on the front in a push/pull setup with 3 more identical eloop PWM fans from noisblocker. compatablity was confirmed by fractal design to work with the Kelvin expandable AIO a few days ago.

then 3 more eloop noisblockers mounted up top as exhaust with the same mod as the front panel giving the Mobo plenty of clearance at the top of the case for heat to rise up to.

1x140 exhaust on the rear (fan undecided as of yet) but im even tempted just to put another noisblocker for uniformity in looks.

in terms of paint...

ive yet to decide if i want to do a contrast white on blue interior where the mobo panel and the rear panel are blue with a white PSU shroud and a blue shroud LED plate.... or the exact reverse of this.... OR full blue interior with white shroud LED panel (thats the bit that says NZXT on it that is currently black in case im unclear)

in any case.... the black parts of the panels will be painted blue and the grills behind them will be white with the possibility of some dimmable LED's in the corners behind the grills.

so yes... that's where my mind is at at the moment... subject to change as always.

would like to hear your thoughts on colour-ways for the inside as its the only thing i cant really decide on

So, i've been umming and arghing about making a custom loop from now... and i figured if im going to the lengths i am currently to modd the case then i may as well try and do what i wanted for the loop.

so come payday the next purchases will be as follows:

- Lots of acrylic to make my custom reservoir (watch this space i think its going to be epic!) Lots of it because i know I'm going to mess up the first 3 biggrin.gif

- Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 360mm radiator in White

- 3 more Noiseblocker fans.... i didnt get pictures of the first ones because i was being a bit lazy on the day they arrived and then a bit overexcited to take pictures of them in their boxes when the grills arrived tongue.gif

- a D5 pump... undecided which yet.... looking at this one from EK, but it will be mounted out of sight i think due to space constraints so looks are not neccessarily important....

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-453-EK

- 1 monsoon acrylic tube just for taking measurements (16x13)

- Monsoon chain gun hardline fittings

- Bitspower mini valve for draining. (white and black)

I'm also debating on waiting until the Galax GTX 980 HOF watercolled edition is released because if im going to spend £600 on a GPU i may as well get one that i can add into my loop.

i will also need to buy either more acrylic or some sheet metal to create a new shroud for the PSU because i think i will need a bit of extra space for my reservoir.....

also can anyone tell me how to make a G1/4 thread in arcylic??

and then i will cross my fingers and hope it all fits....
