Oh wow what a difference. Currently i dont play crazy demanding titles because at the time my 5870 couldnt hang but now i will. Time for some benchmarks.

nice...gave my phenom x6 build to my gf but she didn't want it (said she'd rather play xbox) so I sold it to my friend and he's been very much enjoying playing stuff on ultra/high coming from an xbox 360 beforehand. These "old" AMD cpu's can certainly keep up in modern games, I mean, hell, the consoles are only using an 8 core ~1.6ghz cpu lol.

This being my first build im learning a lot. Currently went back into my oc and tried using fsb and multiplier and im getting better bench scores. Either way im having fun with this tri core. Wished it unlocked to a quad but oh well.

When i increased the tdp on the 970 my minimum went up to 23fps. Also overclocking nb to 2700mhz helped.
