Wow did not think peoples expectations where so high regarding 4K monitors. Personally i think 4K is no ready in terms of features/price/panel type/connectivity. Windows is not ready either as so are most games. Games run fine @ 4K but not really designed for 4K textures in mind. Thats aside for people expecting single GPU to run current game @ 60 fps is fine but upcoming games? That does not even happen with 1440p. If you want to run latest games in 4K you will always need more then 1 GPU.
ya I agree with all you said,,i did a little research about 4K,,i guess it would be cool playing games at 4K,but I get the idea that 4K is mostly intended for large 50+ inch screens hanging on a wall in a big room,also the few articles I did read about 4K,,basically said there really isn't anything to watch on tv in 4K,,the larger networks haven't done any changes to support 4K resolution,i think 4K gaming will be expensive for a long time yet,whatever games support it,but I don't think 4K TV and movies is gonna happen very fast,so im gonna stay away from it for a few years anyways,,unless I win the lottery of course
