Will these RAM fit in this mobo?

Thread Starter
I'm looking to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB RAM.

My motherboard is the P8Z68-V PRO and my current RAM (2x4GB) are the CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

OS: Win 8.1

I understand my mobo only supports up to 1600 mhz, so will have to stay within this limit.

I've looked around and have found CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

First of all, will these fit and work along side my original RAM sticks?

Second, if anyone has suggestions for better RAM around the same price, I'm all ears.

Thanks

Thanks.

Anyone else? Want to know if I'm missing something before I pull the trigger.

The "(OC)" means that to run at those speeds you'll have to set their speed manually in the BIOS.

So I figured, but will that work when the mobo doesn't support it on paper?

Why do you say that? Asus doesn't list a spec for how fast you can run your memory (overclocked). Rest assured that memory speeds well over 5 mHz are available In the Bios.
Since memory speed is FSB x a Multiplier, if you look in your BIOS you will see that there is a list of memory speeds you can choose. As you increase the FSB the available speeds become faster.
