I am looking to buy a 28" monitor and i am almost there, there are 2 monitor's left to choose from.
Wich one is the beter choice, Iiyama ProLite X2888HS-B1 or the ASUS VN289Q.
Following the specs on the official site the ASUS has a better ACR contrast.
I have fould a unboxing video from Newegg, and i like what i saw, but is the ASUS worth the extra 50€?
Or sould i go with the Iiyama and save me some money?

I hope somebody can help me thumb.gif

What are you using the display for? That is a huge factor.

Honestly, I personally couldn't justify spending that kind of money on any 1080P display, even if an MVA panel.

Where do you live? How is warranty support between the two companies? That is another consideration.

Basicly i am using the display in Windows, no video editing or hardcore gaming.
Fast response time is not what i am looking for, but for a little money more it is no problem offcourse wink.gif

I was looking for a bigger display, because my 24" is going to my mother.
The most important thing is that it has more then one conection.

I stuck with 1080P, because WQHD and 4K are to expensive in my opinion.
But maybe i am wrong about that.

I will take a look a the warranty the 2 companies will give wink.gif

Look into the Korean 1440Ps on eBay.

I have purchased four or five of them over the last couple of years for myself and family. Every one of them has been nothing but amazing and all were under $250 USD. Then again, since I don't know where you are on this marble of ours, can't comment too much on availability or pricing.
