arma 3 ram speed someone can test? - Page 3

post #21 of 29
lol i cant believe i forgot the 1/2 ram mhz...woops.

cheater?? why would you ever turn on vsync...?
unless running games that can actually sit nicely at 144hz or whatever your refresh is.
i dont think arma 3 and the like benefit from vsync

king of the hill packed server 30-50fps.

so i guess as good as it gets with current oc/ram

not sure if memory allocation has to do with ram, but -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi
gave a definitive 6fps .. its not much but everything helps in arma 3.

no tag
malloc=system
mallo=tbb4malloc_bi
and a custom malloc from github.

custom and tbb4malloc_bi gave 6 fps boost in arma3markAltis

wholey ****balls

and of course more fps!

booya.

however im thinking this startup param cpucount=bull****

Arma is so badly coded that monkey could do better im thinking aahah smile.gif

I use vsync for the tearing in some game ( i could use msi afterburner to lock it but anyways )

no doubt about that, but bench is a bench.
its a great start point and will translate in to helping mps frames.

if there was a concrete way to bench mp i would, but nature of the beast...

a benchmark would be useful for measuring GPUs performance but CPU performance on a CPU bound game?no it is not cpu bound as the MP

search a server that always is full or where there are many people most of the times.then use fraps or your preferred FPS monitoring progrm that does logs also using hwinfo logs to measure the usage would be useful

and always repeat the same kind of movements or explosions and do the log files 3 times and do an average of the three and you get a result

ARMA 3 benchmark in singleplayer is the most stable ways to see increase.

But yea the increase is even better on a 70 player altis life server from my fx 6300 4.4 to my 4790k 4.8. it just night and days.. I can drive car without looking drunk now biggrin.gif

Gonna go 5760x1080 next month 500$ purchase is killing me but i want that so much ahah. 3 1080 glossy ips 23" monitor from acer ( i order 2 )

Will be gpu bound but yea we cant have it all.
