I RMA-D my ocz vertex 450 512gb ssd and ocz sent me a refurbished ocz vector 512gb ssd . is the ocz vector 512gb ssd any good and which ssd is better the vector or the vertex 450 ?

The Vector is a tad bit faster, but the MTBF is 400,000 hours lower. As long as they continue supporting the warranty from original purchase date, I'd say it's a slight upgrade except for the lower life span.

MTBF has nothing to do with Nand wear....Nand carries a different warranty to MTBF remember

MTBF is just what we expect all components to last for...caps, controllers, resistors, the pcb....the who shabboogal. Nand wear is a different thing wink.gif

vector is faster than vertex...wink.gif
