New MSI Lightning, BF4 freezing

I just got back my 290x (RMA) today. I uninstalled my old drivers and installed the latest AMD drivers. 14 something. In like a minute or less the game freezes. I cant remember but I think my other 290x Lightning did this a few times also. I can not remember how I fixed it then. I've reinstalled the drivers a couple of times and even went back to the previous ones. The older drivers did let me run the game a little longer but also froze. hat should I try next? thanks for any feedback.

When does it get freezed?
What driver do you use?
Is your card oced?
Is your cpu oced?
Did you check your ram?

I had the same issue with dual 290s. It was a pain in the butt but fixed it...can't quite remember as it was a while back.

If I recall, it was due to a combination of driver and OS settings.

Try using the newest driver or revert to 14.6. Also check your page file and set it to the same amount as your memory. BF4 will crash with 8gb memory and low page file or disabled page file.

I've since upgraded to 16gb and let system manage page file.

It will freeze almost instantly when I try to join in multiplayer. Just played test range with no problem.
I'm using the latest drivers.
My card is not overclocked.
My cpu is overclocked and very stable.
Ram is fine.

I had a Lightning card last month that went bad after a few days. It seems like I had this same problem then but I can't remember. BF4 was running great with everything maxed out till it failed.
I've cleaned the old drivers out like always when installing a new card and installed the newest drivers.

I'm getting ready to check that. Thanks
