I don't see how someone who is sick of playing the game on ps3 is going to enjoy it on pc like they never played it to begin with.
Gta 5 is old news.I just can't seem to get excited over this.
Mods, playing at 4x the resolution, or 2x the fps, improved graphics, oh did I say mods, it can make a game last years.
Mods and graphical improvements can drastically change the way you play a game, even if you've played it before. While it's not quite old enough for nostalgia's sake (Tie Fighter, BF2142 remakes with todays graphical improvements for example), it's enough to get you find the game appealing all over again.
Look at Skyrim: 2011 game, mod the shizniz out of that and not only will it make your hardware crumble (just an expression, not pointing fingers), but it looks amazing, feels much more immersive, completely different doing my second run in 2014 compared to when I first played it.
BF4 on Xbox 360/PS3 jumping to PC/PS4/Xbone, admittedly there is more than simply graphical improvements, like map sizes, layout and vehicles, but same principle applies. Feels completely different.
I purchased BF4 on the 360 and the PC, same will be with GTAV, I'm not made of money (hence my rig), nor am I a fanboi. I do know something good when I see it though, I'll of course wait a bit (I don't do pre-orders) but games that are just fun to play are what it's all about.
The modding community for the PC is vast and amazing, after being blown away by the graphical improvements and playing the campaign again, the mods will make it awesome fun for a loooong time (I still have a blast playing modded CnC3).
