This. Who cares, it's brand new to me, and to top it off it will be by far the best version, running at 4k with extra shaders, 60fps, and the first person mode + any control type I want (keyboard, game pad, wheel, etc). It's hardly like the game is magically less valuable or interesting because some guys played it before I did. People thinking that are in it for social brags, not to actually game.

Pretty much.

In general, I think people will be more reluctant to pay full price for a game released 5 years ago (or 1 year ago). That's why games released even 1 year ago now are often discounted.

Besides they have not just ported the game but improved graphics and made changes to gameplay for PC/xbox one/PS4.

Well it's just personal preference. I don't see why you're arguing with me about it. The game is more than a year old now. I wouldn't pay full price for it on principle, because they decided to release it on PC a year later. I also wouldn't pay full price because new games generally should have features (graphics, sound, etc.) on par with other recently released games. Additionally, new games are exciting because they are new and you haven't been exposed to their story, gameplay etc., which I already have for GTA V. It's not interesting enough to me now for me to pay full price. If you feel otherwise, you certainly don't have to justify it, or make personal comments.

You must never pay full price for anything then unless you are willingly being ignorant of the game's story/gameplay, etc? Which then would make no sense either as why would I ever buy a game if I don't know about the story, gameplay, graphics, etc... how can you not expose yourself to this prior to purchase?

Graphics should have nothing to do with the price point... you are forgetting we are talking a game here not a benchmark.

I know just enough about this game's story through the trailers because I didn't spoil it for myself by buying a lesser version of the game or watch tons of story based game play, et..

Why does everyone care so much how others spend their money? If they want to spend it they will, you should not care about others spending their money.

Uhh, every PC game can be bought retail. The downside it will have at least 5 disks. You could pre-order the game on disk (DVD retail) since June, 2014.

Yeah I bet you can't wait to buy the same game twice.

I don't see how someone who is sick of playing the game on ps3 is going to enjoy it on pc like they never played it to begin with.

Gta 5 is old news.I just can't seem to get excited over this.

Normally I would not buy any game twice but with owning both console and pc sometimes "they" release the game on the wrong system first. Seems the best game version is the one which comes out last. GTA V to PS3 then to PC while with D3 first on PC and later was released for the system it was made to be played on .... PS4. These are the only two games ive ever paid for twice, I will also play the second copy more than the first copy i bought, plus trading in the PS3 copy will reduce the price of the game version I plan on keeping.

I never said i was sick to death of GTA V, its just I rushed through it so fast I never had time to really taste what i was consuming biggrin.gif For me moving on to PC it will be like a new game again, Playing around in the city is the main purpose of this game, its the main character actually not the so much the three toons you get to play, they are just there to give you a body to enjoy the city with.
