right as the spring semester gets into full swing.. why must you do this rockstar.

on a good note this may keep me from getting it day 1 and check the reviews first. either way i'll be getting this game, the number of hours i have on vice city and san andreas is probably in the 1000's at least.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. A Christmas release would have been perfect. I will have no time to play this game with all my senior EE projects and classes

I think having calmed down after all that hype, thinking back on my playthrough of the PS3 version, the game itself was pretty boring. Maybe because it just didn't feel like it had a unique spark or personality that Sleeping Dogs had. Or maybe it had to do with the underwhelming graphics. Might just wait on this one.

Played it on friends PS3, really liked it, going to get it on pc. Hopefully it has been worth the wait. tongue.gif

There's one very big issue Rockstar needs to fix for the PC version though: input lag.

The PS4 version had some severe input lag until the most recent patch where Rockstar introduced deadzone sensitivity options. It doesn't alleviate the issue, as button prompts still has a 3 frame input lag (that's 90ms), but movement on the analog stick is much better now.

On the PC where people are going to play with a mouse + kb, it's going to be an even bigger issue especially in FPS mode. Fortunately Rockstar is listening, but I hope input lag is fixed by the PC version rolls around.

Oh and shame on all "reviewers" who never pointed out this issue. I mean, are they even gamers?rolleyes.gif

Good to see that GTA V is finally coming to PC, I have been waiting a long time for it to come out on PC, I have already played it on PS3 though. Glad that the release date got re-confirmed, I was afraid the game might get delayed once again.

Are these 5 things already on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One? I have the Xbox One version and I think these are all on the remake besides the "More Activitie" part which is way too vague to determine. If so, I'm not interested in buying it for PC.

Got enough with GTA IV, Never again.

So it wont be one of the 11 games that supports it? Who cares. It was an ambitious project, but I think optimizing drivers for DX would be more beneficial for AMD users than optimizing for a handful of games. I had nothing but memory leaks and game crashes using Mantle in BF4 and Thief when I had my AMD GPUs, which killed my hype for Mantle. This and the lack of interest by game developers made me realize were not ready for a new API.

Lets just hope it's not another GTAIV... I installed that in Steam winter sales and my god...even in crossfire I can't run it decent enough. (The few times I could run it at all thanks to GFWL shutting down and working my way around that...)
