Screw Rockstar.

One giant reason we'll keep getting these delays, we damn ourselves.

  • Stage Elaborate Heists with Friends Online in Brand New Mode" - This will be on PS3, 360, PS4 and Xbone as well. Not a reason to get on PC.
  • Experience the Massive World of GTA in First-Person for the First Time" Really? That "feature" has been on the PS4 and Xbone since it was released on those platforms. Not a reason to get it on PC.
  • "Los Santos Has More Activities to Partake In" It doesn't have any more activities compared to the PS4 and Xbone version. Not a reason to get it on PC.

That list is terrible. The only features that are on PC only that they listed is the first one. Here is 5 real reasons to get it on PC.

  • Much better visuals - The same explaination as on the article. They did forget to mention higher frame rates. The PS3, 360, PS4 and Xbone all run the game at 30 fps. PCs will be able to run it at a much higher frame rate depending on your hardware and graphics settings. A Titan Z would probably be able to run it at 500+ fps on lowest graphics settings at 800x600. Consoles are capped to 30 fps.
  • In game video recorder and editor - This will be a PC exclusive. You will be able to record your own videos and edit them in game. GTA IV had the same video editor and if you know what you're doing, you can make a video that rivals Hollywood movies. Just look at Yeardley Diamond's videos on YouTube.
  • Mods - GTA Games have never really had proper mod support, but the GTA series is one of the most modded games series out there. In time, there will be tons of mods including ones that will make the already good visuals and make them better (Icehancer, EBN, etc.)
  • Rockstar Social Club features will be much better than on the consoles. The game will most likely have a built in Rockstar Social Club UI like in L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 so you don't have to alt-tab out of the game to arrange a meeting in GTA Online. You can just open that and access your "life invader" page
  • Input options - The console versions are limited to one controller. While on the PS3 and 360 it's not do bad because it doesn't have a first person view, it's terrible on the PS4 and Xbone if you want to use the first person view. On PC, you will have the choice with if you want to use the keyboard and mouse or any controller that is supported by Windows. The keyboard and mouse controls will make the first person view significantly better.
"Much better visuals" - Don't count on it. Sure it'll look nice, but it's not going to be a dramatic change over the console versions.
"Mods" - The GTA modding community is awful. Couple their stupid ideas (spongebob main character, anyone?) with their inability to finish anything even remote interesting, and you're left with a small few good mods that get done.

It's not ourselves we're damning. I'm quite content simply playing something else from a company that ships on time and/or communicates with its customers. That's the whole "vote with your wallet" thing that gets thrown around here a lot in EA and Ubi threads. That's how it works.

Here's to betting it'll look indistinguishably the same as the new consoles, except we'll get higher frames, any Resolution and kb+m support as PsYcHo29388 mentioned on the previous page.

Same here. Havent played my PS3 version since November2013. Apparently since then I haven't missed anything except the eye strain.

I'm still not actually convinced this is coming out the 27th, it is getting to the point where it'd be a major slap in the face to delay again this close to release, but I still don't trust the fact that we have no PC screens, videos, requirements, or real mentions of PC in the past 3.5months..

But "Vote with your wallet" does not really affect huge companies. You're a drop in a bucket.

Huh? If it was any more different to GTA 4 then it would be in a different series.
