[NVision] Grand Theft Auto V on PC: Five Big Reasons You’ll Want to Play - Page 9

Am I the only person that doesn't understand the whole losing interest over time thing? Oh no, it's been 17 months since it came out on last gen consoles! That somehow makes me not want to play anymore!

Going to be launched the same day as my birthday, wonder how many copies of the game I'll find in my Steam inventory.

I have purposefully avoided playing GTA V on consoles (it's easier b/c I don't own one myself but still...) to keep from spoiling the fun I'm going to have with the game on PC. Watch Dogs gave me that open world shoot 'em up fix for a little while but I really can't wait for GTA V regardless of potential "performance woes". Considering that I was/am perfectly happy with the performance of WATCH_DOGS and Far Cry 4 I think I'll be fine...

I can bet my life I can play this game at highest settings minus view distance, detail distance, and vehicle density...But in GTA IV I can't max out those settings either and I only needed them so high without it making the game look any worse than max.
I honestly think this game will run better than GTA IV, someone should quote me. GTA IV playable for me on a e8400 + HD 5770 / GTX 260...Just had to play with the right settings. People, you have to know your PC and what it's capable of. Don't get mad if you can't max out a game, just lower the settings until you get the rates and look you want. You can't always have your cake and eat it too.

I won't pay full price for a game that was released a year ago, but if it is on a Steam Sale at some point I may get it.

Actually it's on half price, since the Xbox and PS are more expensive so for PC will be on half price, cheers smile.giftongue.gif.

Why pay full price for a game they didn't bother to release on PC until a year later? The game is more than a year old now.

So would you pay full price for a game from 5 years ago? Why not? Why 5 years and not 1 year? Anyway, it's not my problem if you want to clamor to pay full price.
