Always on VPN in Tomato

Thread Starter
I have a tomato router set up with ibVPN. I need it to be 'always on', in other words I need the network connection to be closed unless the VPN is connected. I know that as it currently is, when the actual WAN connection drops, the VPN is disconnected and I manually have to start it again. Any ideas on how to do this?

Might be easier to do that at the host level. Otherwise, some routing table trickery might accomplish that.

Never really used tomato firmware but if its like DDWRT or OpenWRT you can just make a custom script.
And use the condition to run it with the WAN connection state.

Yes, I know tomato can run scripts, but I have no idea how to write one for this purpose. I'd think it should a) connect to VPN on WAN uplink and b) check that the connection is enabled every 1-2m
