New fan for Corsair psu - Page 2

More expensive is not always better since its already known that Corsair PSUs are not the best in the low price range. But the Gs550m is a better unit.
But since it still works and you already did a replacement for the fan its worth to buy another fan.

My recommendation wont change for the fans through.
If you need a good source you should look into this review: us.hardware.info 103-12cm case fans.

The GT is there, but absurdly expensive. The high speed model is cheaper... But too fast without PWM.

Looking through there...

-Cooler Master Jetflos are great.

-The Noiseblocker e-loop is great but pricey, most of their fans are. Phobya sells some too.

-I think the top EKW fans are good too.

-The Noctua NF-P12 is good.

IDK about enermax/be quiet, as I don't know how their PWM models behave with voltage control.

When looking for a PSU fan, you want:

-FDB or Ball Bearings
-3 pin (4 pin with speed adapters is a good sign)
-Less than ~1600RPM.
-Some kind of pressure-optimized fan blades.
