Also, 290X will be able to pull most games at good frame rates @ 1440P. I usually use one of my 290's on my 1440P monitor and get 45 - 60 FPS on most even new games. Unless a game is very demanding I enable my second card.
Although I do think, you're going to put together a pretty sweet build.

I actually did go with G.Skill. In post 5 I pulled the trigger on the rest of the build. smile.gif

As I type, the PC in progress is up, running and being used to post this very post.

So far I love the case and this motherboard is more robust than I'll ever need.
Damn, you're quick! How are you liking your new toys? Let's see some benchmarks tongue.gif
I wish, I could have gotten two Lightnings but I got my cards technically when they first came out so Lightning wasn't around at that time. How are the temps and noise?

I only have the case, board, and CPU. I'm using RAM and a PSU that's temporary.

The last 4 components are on the way. Next week I suspect.

Dang the Lightning 290x is one overbuilt part lol! It's massive yet has no sag at all.

CPU cooler came in today. Unfortunately, the reservoir is cracked and leaked fluid everywhere. On the phone with newegg as I type this. We'll see what happens..
