for air cooler noctua nhd 15/14, or if money is no issue get the swiftech h220x/240x(both are basically pre-assembled custom loops, that you can expand as much as you want)

Thernalright True Spirit 140 power -171mm- near NH D14 Performance
Thermalright Macho Rev B orThermalright Macho Zero+TY 147 or 141 - 163mm- Near NH D15 Performance or better
Cryorig R1 Ultimate -171mm- Near Thermalright Silver Arrrow IB-E
Thermalright Silver Arrow IB-E almost the best but it is loud

AIO
Cooler Master Glacer 240L- Rebadged Switech H220
Deepcool Maelstorm, Similar performance to the H220
Raijintek Triton Slighly better than the h220
Switftech H220X improved design and almost the best 240mm

I highly recommend the CoolerMaster Nepton 280L. Keeps my 4790K at 4.6GHz nice and cool. Will post pics of temps soon.

Bare in mind I'm using a NZXT H440 which is known for poor airflow and I am using the stock case fans.

EDIT: Temps running 4.6GHz Prime95 1344k FFTs

it`s over rated. A heatsink does the same for less

Hmm, only reason I asked was because I was reading your guide and the overall temps for the h100i seemed pretty decent, especially for the price my store has.

H100i is one of the best coolers you can buy, and for $60 that's just a steal!

Thanks for the advice guys! I'll see what other coolers my shop has.

H100i has mounting issues. Have to use washers to secure it and get good contact to the CPU.
